The leading index S&P BSE Sensex began in the green with a gain of 53.80 points or 0.08 percent at the pre-opening bell. The index continued to rise at 9.15 am, reaching 62,720.01, up 186.71 points or 0.30 percent.
On a sectoral level, metals shone by 0.22%, power improved by 0.13 %, and auto rose by 0.18 % during the pre-opening session.
In the pre-opening session of today’s BSE, UCO Bank, Shankara Building Products Ltd, and Heidelberg Cement India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers. None of these businesses have recently made any noteworthy announcements. Therefore, the increase in their share prices may have been caused solely by market factors.
S&P BSE 500 business UCO Bank increased 5.34 percent to trade at Rs 30.60 per share.
An S&P BSE SmallCap firm, Shankara Building Products Ltd, rose 4.19 percent to trade at Rs 743.95 per unit.
Another S&P BSE 500 business, Heidelberg Cement India Ltd, increased 2.65% to trade at Rs 208.90 a share.
